Our topic for today is the most famous fast food restaurant in the country of Philippines, the Jollibee.

The origin of Jollibee

So Before we begin our review first we must share to you people the beginning of this this mouthwatering restaurant. The business started as an ice cream parlor in Cubao, Quezon City, Manila led by business owner Tony Tan Caktiong by the year 1975. As years passed by the customers started demanding for meals so the family served hot meals like rice and sandwiches as well as drinks. Later on, undergoing different circumstances throughout the years the simple ice cream parlor
turned out to be as the well-known “Jollibee”.

The Staffs/Crew

The staffs and crews of Jollibee are nice. They are always responsible for their valuable customers. They always greet you and welcome you with a smile on their face, they treat everyone as equal. They’re fast in terms of taking orders and to the customers who seek for help. Even in a graveyard shift staffs in Jollibee branches are active and responsive not like the other fast food chains.

The Ambiance

Their choice of place is excellent. They always choose place in a crowded community, they place their fast food where people can easily do an access to it. They can always outsell other fast food chains because of their location.
They always have the best spot for people and people can easily see and recognize their fast food.

The Menu

When it comes to menu. Jollibee has a great choice of foods. They have a huge amount of variety for people to order. One of their signature is the Jollibee Chicken Joy. It is known for it’s juiciness and crispiness. People choose their chicken because it’s super juicy, plus their delicious gravy.
Jollibee’s french fries is also a must. Their french fries are also the Filipino’s favorite. They take their french fries to a new level, they added flavors to it. You can choose between sour and cream, cheese, and super cheese which make it really better.
Lastly Jollibee’s spaghetti is one of their most famous menu. Known for it’s sweetness, tenderness and it is the kids favorite alongside with Jollibee Chicken Joy. For their people it is the best combo you can get from them.

The Finale

Overall Jollibee is a good place to dine at, with good customer service, a beautiful atmosphere and affordable food. But also remember to eat healthy and a lot of vegetables! Eating outside is not always that good because it may be delicious but not always healthy. Home cooking is still the dominator of the planes because of the way a food is cooked.

Before we end this review, we just want to assure you that everybody has different tastes for food, some may prefer Italian food, Chinese food, Korean food and many more varieties. Just don’t forget to skip meals and eat three times a day!

True Narrative

Despite the changes that occured in the past, since the typhoon Ondoy, we where living on Cainta back then and our house is still intact even though our neighboring houses were destroyed. It was the the year 2009, it was just calm rains then ias days passed by it became a maelstrom of rain, thunder and lightning. The flood outside our house is as brown as a refined wood and already like a river, it was a flash flood rapidly flowing downwards to the Pasig River. We had to evacuate as soon as we can.

We evacuated at our family friend’s house which has two floors also there are other families that evacuated, there like not more than ten families there. We waited for the flood to lessen because it is still above knee. We ate canned goods and breads to keep our stomach filled with fuel for us to survive and to keep going. We stayed there for two days and on those two days I witnessed the changing of the environment, from the skies to the land of ours. The sky became blue again instead of gray, the flood of water slowly sinks into the drainage and evaporates, the houses in our barangay are extremely damaged. It was a rough week for us because of typhoon Ondoy but luckily our house is still complete, it just needs a good cleaning. The after math is so awful it makes many families release tears from their eyes but also being a Filipino, they never forget to smile despite the of what have happened.

It’s been 10 years and we are now in Bataan, we have encountered different typhoons with different strengths and different length but still none can match the power of typhoon Ondoy. As a family we are strengthened by our faith in God and we are willing to protect each other no matter what because we are a family. A message from the Fernandez family.

Memoir

This is a story about me when I was in 9th grade. I met this charming and adorable girl. Her beauty is inviting me to like her. She’s not like the other girls out there. There was something in her that makes me admire her.

I chatted her so that we’ll have a connection. She replied back and our conversation went well as it goes deeper. She is so cheeky that makes everyone like her. Her shyness makes her pure and innocent. As time goes by, I already had her. She is now mine. I admire her more as I was knowing her little by little. She’s always there for me. She is helping me in everything. She is so nice and irresistible. Never I had ever been like this to a girl not until I met her. I introduced her to my family and vice versa. Our relationship went well, but as time passed by problems keeps our relationship broken. Our relationship became on on and off. Now I am losing her little by little. I am so guilty, I regretted what I did to her. But then, even though there was a chaos in our relationship, I’m glad that she never left my side. She forgave my sinful and aggressive behavior.

I am so lucky, I have her. I never thought that it would be like this. I cannot imagine losing a kind-hearted girl like her. But I imagined myself being with her while she wears a white gown and I wearing a suite. I’ll do my very best to earn her full trust again because I cannot afford to lose my Llana Margarette.

Reportage

The Philippines is a unique country. It is also the world’s 12th most populated country with just over 103 million people as of 2016. The Philippines is a Christian country in most part of Asia (roughly 80 percent of the population is Roman Catholic). Equally noted, English is a national language in the Philippines next to Filipino (Tagalog) and spoken by about two-thirds of the population, although there are still some 170 additional Malayo-Polynesian languages in use throughout the archipelago.

The Philippines was a Spanish colony for more than three centuries, a fact that shaped religious belief systems, before the U.S. occupied it in 1898 and ruled the country for nearly five decades, until independence in 1946. U.S. colonialism had a formative impact on the development of the modern Philippine education system and various other aspects of Philippine society.

With the imposition of English in sectors like education, news media, and trade, the Spanish language became marginalized and faded. In 1987, Spanish was dropped as an official language and is today only spoken by a small minority of Filipinos.
